Heinrich Vogt Möbeldesign

Heinrich Vogt

Heinrich Vogt was a furniture designer and/or manufacturer in Germany, specifically operating under the company name Heinrich Vogt oHG, based in Wiedenbrück. Evidence exists of furniture pieces from the 1960s bearing the label "Heinrich Vogt oHG Wiedenbrück".

What did he create?

Around 1960, Heinrich Vogt created, among other things, a teak and rattan sideboard/shoe cabinet for the hallway, which is considered a design classic of the 1960s. Another example is the M223 chest of drawers by Heinrich Vogt from the 1960s, featuring a two-tone veneer front.

Around 1960, Heinrich Vogt designed and produced furniture with typical features of the early 1960s: e.g., chests of drawers/sideboards with veneered wood, slender legs, two-tone fronts and a restrained, functional form.

One specific example is the chest of drawers “M 223” by Heinrich Vogt, circa 1960s, with four drawers and typical two-tone veneer design.

A shoe cabinet/hallway furniture by him is also offered as "Mid century German hallway Teak & Rattan shoes cabinet by Heinrich Vogt oHG, 1960s".
